Stefan Bükk
Stefan is Researcher, Teacher, Networker and Consultant in the field of Lean Product Development. He has been involved in three major Swedish research projects studying LPD Transformation in the Swedish Industry. Stefan is also the central hub in The Swedish LPD Network with about 30 members companies that's meet regularly to share knowledge about Lean PD. Stefan has been involved since the start with the Chalmers Professional Education LPD 7,5 HP Education, all together Stefan has educated close to 500 "students" in the principles of Lean PD.

Lean Product Development and the difference between it and Lean Production
The concept of Lean Production or TPS has been known since 30 years in the west, most people see is as way to improve a production facility by reducing variation and waste, shorten lead-time by using standardization and Continuous Improvements and focus on the Customer.
Lean Product Development (LPD) on the other hand has only been around in west for about 10 years. LPD has two major value streams:
- Design products and production processes
- Create reusable knowledge
