An introduction to Renderscript
This lightning talk will introduce Renderscript and some interesting use cases for this new technology available to Android developers. Officially introduced in Android 3.0, Renderscript is an API targeted at high-performance 3D rendering and compute operations. It provides the performance of native code without the hassle of targeting different CPU architectures and it can fully make use of whatever computation resources the device at hand provides.
