Introduction to JSF and Icefaces

Sun's JavaServer Faces (JSF) technology simplifies the creation of user interfaces for Java web applications. In this introduction, attendees learn how to rapidly build web clients by JSF and also get an introduction to IceFaces (www.icefaces.org) as an extension to JSF. This is a very compact hands-on training that will "inject" lots of knowledge to attendees in short.
Target audience:
All attendees should have a solid foundation in Java programming and prior hands-on experience developing JavaServer Pages (JSP).
Training outline:
- JSF basic (Managed Bean, Views, Expression Language, Standard components, Navigation, Data validation) introduction and demonstration
- Switch from JSF to Icefaces, introduction and demonstration to Icefaces component suit.
